2019 is turning out to be the year of weddings for my older sister and some of her closest friends. She and 3 of her best friends are all getting married between February and September, and I have the incredibly beautiful privilege of photographing all 3 of her friends on their wedding days. Randy and Gracie are the amazing couple that kicked off my 2019 wedding season at Ever After Farms in Florida and mannnn was this a good one! My sister and Randy met in college in Tallahassee, so I’ve always known Randy as her fun and silly dance team friend. Randy’s been a huge supporter of my photography and my business for as long as I can remember, and he would always tell me that he couldn’t wait to have me shoot his wedding.
I headed down to central Florida for their wedding weekend with SO much excitement to not only photograph everything, but also to support such an amazing couple. Gracie was one of the most chill brides ever! Just a big genuine smile on her face while she relaxed, laughed, and got ready with her bridesmaids leading up to her first look. And this first look!? One of the besttttt. They were both just so happy to see each other, hug, talk, and relax before their ceremony. Oh, and this ceremony! Stunning and SO emotional. I have a huge thing for Spanish moss hanging from trees, so this spot at Ever After Farms was perfect. Gracie’s older brother officiated their wedding ceremony and offered so much love and advice to them both. Everyone partied hard at the reception and after the sparkler exit, I stole Gracie and Randy away for them to take it all in by themselves one last time and be surrounded by the glowing lights of the beautiful tree. I would shoot this day over and over again if it meant being able to celebrate these two! All the love for the Pierres!
