We’ve been published! *Insert party balloons emoji here* Almost exactly a year ago, my dear friend, Kristian, married her favorite guy, Mike, at a brunch wedding at Ashton Gardens in Atlanta, and highlights from their day are featured in the spring/summer issue of Our Love In Color Magazine! I’m so glad that this wedding was selected for publication because I have sooo much love for this couple and their wedding. I’ve known Kristian for over 15 years as she’s my older sister’s best friend since high school! I’ve watched her go through so much life and I’ve loved seeing her transition and grow from meeting Mike to getting engaged (see their engagement session here) to getting married and now being a new mom! Mike is light-hearted, caring, and uplifting guy who doesn’t know a stranger, and they are truly perfect for each other. Kristian put so much of her DIY skills and creativity into their wedding last year at Ashton Gardens and it turned out to be an elegant yet simple spring celebration. I loved the tears she shared with her dad and her bridesmaids and the emotion that Mike showed as she walked down the aisle toward him. For a wedding day starting at 5 am, you can’t get much better than this!
