This fall marks 13 years since I started high school, which also marks 13 years since I’ve known the lovely girl in these images—Vipasha! We are old classmates and former Junior year dorm mates (3rd floor East!), and I think it’s been since our 5-year class reunion in 2015 that we’ve actually seen each other. It was sooo much fun to catch up with her in October and meet her fiance, CJ, for their engagement session in Washington DC. Guys, this was suuuchh a cold morning! I know you probably can’t tell from the pictures, but this sunrise session had us all shivering and trying to imagine it was 80 degrees. I think Vipasha & CJ did a perfect job cuddling and keeping each other warm. You can tell that they are safe in each other’s arms and have a beautifully strong connection within their relationship. It’s always so special to see friends fall in love and be so well taken care of! These two are getting married in India next year so they will definitely have warmer weather for their wedding! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time at the Enid A. Haupt Smithsonian Garden. See more Washington DC engagement sessions that I’ve photographed here.
