Whenever I photograph a wedding of a friend, I get extra excited! Bryanna and Nick’s wedding at The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia this past May was no exception. Bryanna and I went to middle school and church summer camp together back in Virginia and stayed connected through social media over all these years. Getting to reunite with her and some old middle school friends was seriously so much fun! We got to embarrassingly reminisce about our awkward teenage years and reflect on how Bryanna and Nick were always so meant to be.

I can’t get over how full of emotion and beauty this day was. Beautiful because of this stunning venue, yes, but also because of the intentional ways that Bryanna and Nick chose to display their love for each other. Bryanna has a heart of gold and loves so deeply! Which is why there were more than a few moments of tears throughout the day. And Nick’s gentle spirit was so warm and welcoming. He was always checking in on his friends and family making sure everyone was doing well and enjoying themselves. I loved this day and truly felt so honored to be welcomed in to witness and capture it.
