My first time shooting a wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and now I’m in loooove! For this wedding day, I was second shooting for my talented friend Michelle Scott and the day was simply beautiful. October is probably my favorite month to photograph weddings here in Atlanta. Changing leaves, bearable temperatures, the crisp smells and sounds of fall.

I began the day at the Hyatt Midtown where Amanda and Jorge were prepping with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We all traveled to Callanwolde for their fall afternoon wedding ceremony afterward. Callanwolde is a dreamy wedding venue. It has a classic, gothic aesthetic with stained glass windows, moody corners of light, and entire garden dedicated to really beautiful flowers and plants. Speaking of flowers, Rhapsody In Blooms did an amazing job with the floral design for Amanda & Jorge’s wedding. Their outdoor ceremony had a simple linen and greenery arch and the reception centerpieces were super elegant too.
